<p>PURPOSE:To mechanize detachable attachment of armor rods to a transmission line at a plurality of points, by mounting a winder for securing ends on one side of a plurality of armor rods then rotating ends on the other side thereof and winding over the transmission line onto a traveling machine. CONSTITUTION:A fixing section 60 for holding one ends of a plurality of armor rods 5 and bringing them into contact with a transmission line 1 is provided. A rotary section 70 for holding the other ends of the plurality of armor rods 5 and rotatable around the transmission line 1 is also provided thus constituting a winder 50. The winder 50 is mounted on a machine 30 travelable on the transmission line 1. Then the winder 50 travels along the transmission line 1, and upon arrival to a predetermined position, the fixing section 60 is operated first to secure one ends of the armor rods 5 onto the transmission line 1, then the rotary section 70 is rotated around the transmission line 1 so as to wind the armor rods 5 automatically over the transmission line 1.</p> |
