PURPOSE:To inexpensively ensure that a surface not provided with a three- dimensional image is not provided with recessed parts corresponding to the three-dimensional image and that projected parts are not collapsed even when a pressure is applied thereto, by a method wherein cuts are formed along the outlines of patterns, and only the base parts located on the patterns are removed, thereby forming the three-dimensional image on a base not provided with the cuts. CONSTITUTION:Patterns 2 in a negative-positive relation with a three- dimensional image 3 to be formed are printed on a thermoplastic resin base 1. A base 1' is placed on the base 1 so that the surface provided with the patterns 2 is located therebetween, and heat and pressure are applied to the bases 1, 1' to weld the bases 1, 1' to each other at the parts other than the patterns 2. Next, the base 1' is cut on the surface provided with the patterns 2 along the outlines of the patterns 2 by a sharp cutter or the like. Then, a tacky adhesive paper 5 is adhered to the base 1', and only the base parts located on the patterns 2 are removed, thereby forming the three-dimensional image 3 on the base 1.
|
