PURPOSE:To obtain an image forming light profile having no irregularity, by constituting the title printing head so that the terminal parts of the light emitting parts on the side of a junction of the light emitting elements on both sides of the junction of a light emitting element array chip are formed into a non- linear shape and the brightness of the junction of the light emitting element array chip is increased. CONSTITUTION:An LED chip 10 is constituted by arranging 64 LED elements A, each of which has a light emitting part 2 having an electrode part 3 arranged to the central part thereof, to a substrate having an SiN diffusion mask layer 4. The LED chip 10 is subjected to die bond at a junction 6 and the terminal part shapes of the light emitting parts 20 on the side of the junction of LED elements A1, A2 on both sides of the junction 6 are constituted into a comb shape. By this structure, the substantial length of the boundary part of the light emitting part 20 of said part and the SiN diffusion mask layer 4 is extended and the light emitting efficiency of said part rises to raise brightness. By this method, the contrast of the image forming light profile of the LED head containing the junction 6 can be markedly reduced and the image forming light profile having no irregularity can be obtained. |
