PURPOSE:To surely set a paper, by engaging a transmission gear with a platen gear by turning a clutch lever on a platen shaft in one direction so that a cam part of the lever causes the transmission gear to be engaged by a spring, and disengaging the transmission gear by turning the lever in the other direction. CONSTITUTION:When a clutch lever 30 on a platen shaft 10a is turned in one direction, the lever 30 is moved downward along a slant cam surface 36b of a transmission gear 36, which is moved on a wheel shaft 35 under energization by a spring 37, and is engaged with a platen gear 31, whereby a pin wheel is rotated in a body with the gear 36. On the other hand, when the clutch lever 30 is turned in the other direction, a cam part 30b of the lever 30 is moved along the slant cam surface 36b to press the transmission gear 36 against the energizing force of the spring 37, whereby the gear 36 is disengaged from the platen gear 31. In this case, a rotational load on the wheel shaft 35 is high, and it is possible to properly set a paper between the pin wheel and a platen. Thus, the paper can be properly set on the platen, and levitation, skewing or the like of the paper can be prevented from occurring. |
