PURPOSE:To increase a printing speed by reducing the mass of the moving part of an armature system, by using a hollow pipe wire made of a sintered hard alloy as the dot wire of an impact dot head. CONSTITUTION:A coil 12 is selectively excited to negate the magnetic flux of a permanent magnet 4 and an armature 10 is protruded by the recovery force of a leaf spring 9 to allow the dot wire 13 fixed to the armature 10 at one end by soldering to protrude in the same direction and the other end of the wire 13 is allowed to collide with a printing medium 17 through a ribbon 15 to perform dot printing. At this time, as the dot wire, a sintered hard alloy pipe wire lighter than a sintered hard alloy wire is used. Therefore, the mass of the moving part of the armature system is reduced and the time required in printing becomes short. |
