PURPOSE:To manufacture a superconducting material giving a large amount of critical current by orienting crystals via the addition of a magnetic field concurrently with pressing and drawing a ceramic oxide system superconducting material filled in a metal tube. CONSTITUTION:Magnets 25 to 28 are arranged around a platinum crucible 22 and each magnet is divided like 25-1 and 25-2. The aforesaid magnets cause a molten ceramic oxide system superconducting material 24 within the crucible 22 to give a gyromagnetic motion like 30-1, 30-2, 30-3 and 30-4, and the material 24 is agitated. The material 24 is heated with a heater 29 and concurrently the rotation of the crucible 22 is reversed. And the material 24 is annealed to the predetermined temperature and a monocrystal material 23 is lifted in a strip shape toward a direction 23'. In this case, an annealing process is applied while the single crystal material 23 is being lifted with a pair of other magnets 31 and 31', thereby forming the strip of the single crystal material 23. |
