PURPOSE:To freely control a release speed of heparin; e.g., to attain a slow release over a long time period if necessary, by adding heparin and/or a salt thereof to a hydrogel. CONSTITUTION:An anti-thrombogenic material is made by adding heparin and/or a salt thereof to a hydrogel. The heparin used can be one in the market and a preferable example of the salt is of sodium heparin or potassium heparin. A preferable example of the hydrogel used is synthesized from a monomer with a hydrophilic functional group, a monomer with an amide group, a monomer with a hydroxyl group or a monomer with a carboxyl group. |
