<p>PURPOSE:To obtain in a short time dry cherry leaves for foods rich in fragrance, capable of storage for a long period, by curing treatment of cherry leaves and their axially buds through their contact with a circulating air flow under specific conditions followed by drying to enhance the enzyme action. CONSTITUTION:Cherry leaves and their axially buds are brought into contact with a circulating air flow at 35-45 deg.C and a relative humidity of 80-95% for >=60hr to carry out a curing treatment followed by drying so that the water content of the leaves reduces to <=14wt.%. Said curing treatment is pref. made using e.g. a circulation-type bulk dryer.</p> |
