PURPOSE:To obtain crystallized glass capable of easily forming large and small colored meshy patterns by accumulating and pressurizing a specified double-layer granular body formed from glass powder to mold a molded form and thereafter heat-treating it to sinter and crystallize it. CONSTITUTION:One part of two kinds of powder which is glass powder occupied with >=90wt.% particle having <=200 mesh for viscosity constitution and has mutually different color is used as powder for forming a core and the other part thereof is used as powder for covering. After molding a granular core by the powder for forming the core, this granular core is covered with the powder for covering to obtain a double- layer granular body. Then this double-layer granular body is accumulated and pressurized to mold a molded form and thereafter heat-treated to sinter and crystallize it and thereby the aimed crystallized glass patterned with color is obtained. The accumulated double-layer granular bodies 1, 1 are deformed and also the covering layers 3, 3 are joined and integrated into one body and a meshy pattern is formed by surrounding isolated granular cores 2, 2 as the state of the pressurized, molded and accumulated double-layer granular body as shown in the figure. Crystallized glass having the colored meshy pattern is obtained by sintering and crystallizing such pressurized molded body. |
