PURPOSE:To obtain calcined powder having uniform and satisfactory superconductivity by putting powdery starting materials in a heat resistant reaction tube, rotating the tube, feeding atmospheric gas into the tube and calcining the starting materials so that the starting materials react well with the atmospheric gas. CONSTITUTION:A tubular heater 4 is placed around a heat resistant reaction tube 5 having a hole 7 for feeding atmospheric gas, powder starting materials for a superconductive material are put in the tube 5 and the tube 5 is rotated on its central axis. At the same time, the heater 4 is worked, atmospheric gas is fed into the tube 5 from the hole 7 and the starting materials are calcined. |
