The invention relates to a device making it possible to fix the boom to the mast of a sailboard, in a functional manner avoiding the drawbacks of the use of ends. It consists of a double collar 1 the internal surface of which has a flexible material 7 with a high coefficient of friction. The double collar is secured to a moulded component 3 having two fittings 4 and 5 allowing it to be assembled to the bars of the boom. The tightening of the screws 2 makes it possible to secure this boom end to the mast of the sailboard by contact. The device according to our invention is intended for fastening the boom to the mast of a sailboard. <IMAGE>
