The present invention relates to an inertia clutch 63 in a set of gears 72, 80 connecting a motor 52 with a rack in order to drive this rack 42 between an advanced position and a retracted position. The clutch includes a drive gear 62 coupled to the motor, a driven gear 72 connected so as to actuate the rack, as well as a clutch plate 66 actuated by inertia, including a pair of drive teeth which can alternately engage with the driven gear 72 of the clutch. The clutch may operate in order to connect the motor so as either to advance the rack or to retract it. When the motor is not operating, the clutch disconnects from the rack the shaft of the motor so that the rack can move between the advanced and retracted positions without rotating the shaft of the motor. <IMAGE>
