PURPOSE:To provide possibility of running freely in a narrow space by steering a running vehicle body with the driving direction and the driving speed, and suspending the vehicle body at the two walls which are facing together to bound the space. CONSTITUTION:A moving device 20 includes a vehicle body 21, a ball type rigid follower wheel 22 installed in the center of one end on one surface of this vehicle body, running wheels 23, 24 installed at the other end of the vehicle body, ball type flexible follower wheels 27-30 arranged at the four corners of the other surface of vehicle body 21, and drive mechanisms 25, 26 to drive the running wheels 23, 24. The ball type flexible follower wheels 27-30 can make strokes by a hold cylinder 27d etc., in the axial direction. The moving device 20 is intruded into a space 103, and the follower wheel 27 is elongated to cause suspension of the vehicle body in the space 103 with the follower wheels 27-30 and running wheels 22, 23 which are energized so as to separate from one another, and thus it runs in the space freely with the driving wheels 23, 24. |
