<p>PURPOSE:To effectively remove high-boiling impurities and obtain a high-quality distilled liquor without necessitating redistillation operation, by supplying steam corresponding to partial vapor pressure of alcohol into a fractionation column and a distillation pot and cooling and liquefying the mixed vapor. CONSTITUTION:Unrefined fermentation product 2 in a distillation pot 1 is heated and boiled with a heater to evaporate vapor composed mainly of alcohol and water accompanying high-boiling impurities such as fusel oil, higher fatty acid, etc. The vapor is passed through a flow channel 31g of a 1st column 31 of a fractionation column 3, guided with a cap 31h and bubbled in water in a fractionation chamber 31f which is cooled with cooling water in a water tank 31b to separate the high-boiling impurities in water. The remaining vapor rich in alcohol component is introduced into a 2nd column 32 to separate high-boiling impurities in the same manner as above. At the same time, steam corresponding to the partial vapor pressure of alcohol is supplied through a steam pipe 34 into a fractionation chamber 32f, mixed with the alcohol-rich vapor and introduced into a 3rd column 33, in which the vapor is subjected to an action similar to redistillation treatment. The vapor rich in alcohol is extracted from an exhaustion part 33m and liquefied with a cooling apparatus 4.</p> |
