PURPOSE:To compensate some working and assembling errors automatically as well as to secure stable rotation with no play by installing each engaging device, by means of a taper surface, between an image carrier and a shaft supporting this carrier as well as between this shaft and an immobile part at the device body side. CONSTITUTION:After slits 1a', 1b' are engaged with pins 2a, 2b, a nut 6 is screwed therein, and an image carrier 1 is tightly attached to a shaft 2 with an engaging action among two taper chucks 4, a taper member 5 and respective conical surfaces of two side plates 1a, 1b. Next, a nut 9 is advanced to the left and a chuck 7 displaces itself in a taper member 8 and support the shaft 2 in a state of no play to a bearing 3b. When each member is assembled as specified, a main part between the image carrier and the shaft supporting this carrier as well as between this shaft and an immobile part at the device side is engaged and supported by a taper, and working and assembling errors or the like are easily compensated, thus rotary operation with no play is securable. |
