PURPOSE:To make a movable vane so as to have a liquid-tight sealing function by constituting a rotary damper as including a casing, a rotor shaft and a fixed vane, installing two orifices in this fixed vane, while installing a valve in an opening end of the orifice on one side, and forming the movable vane with a soft rubber material. CONSTITUTION:When a rotor shaft 14 of a rotary damper is rotated, a movable vane 13 is rotated as compressing a liquid charged to one side space between this movable vane 13 and a fixed vane 15. At this time, a valve 20 is pressed to the side of the fixed vane 15 by the compressed fluid, and an orifice 18 on one side is closed so that this fluid flows into the other side space between the movable vane 13 and the fixed vane 15 from an orifice 19 on the other only. Consequently, rotation of the movable vane gently takes place owing to action of viscous resistance of the fluid and square resistance of speed. Since the movable vane 13 is formed with a slightly soft rubber material or a plastic material, a liquid-tight sealing function at a double side part where the movable vane 13 of a liquid chamber 11 serves as a partition wall, is also sufficiently taking effect. |
