PURPOSE: To prevent water from intruding into a liquid bleeding hole provided in the bottom of an air cleaner installed over the transmission case, by forming an external air introduction part and air exhaustion part in a transmission case for accommodating a power transmitting mechanism, and putting the liquid bleeding hole in communication with the air exhaustion part through a communicating member. CONSTITUTION: An air cleaner 10 is installed over a transmission case 3 to accommodate a power transmitting mechanism which transmits the rotation of an engine 2 to the driving wheel 5, and further the transmission case 3 is equipped in a front part with an external air intake hole 31 and with an exhaust duct 34 opening in the bottom. A water bleeding hole 46 in the air cleaner 10 is put in communication with the exhaust duct 34 through a connection pipe 47 and a hose 50. When the air introduced to the transmission case 3 is exhausted out of the duct 34, a wind pressure is generated, whereby water is hindered from introducing from the road surface into the water bleeding hole 46. Thus water intrusion into the air cleaner from road surface is precluded, and the internal rainwater, gasoline vapor, etc., is sucked at engine brake, etc., when the degree of negative pressure heightens in the exhaust duct, and is discharged smoothly to the outside. |
