PURPOSE: To improve the operatability and the security by providing an identification number input unit with a communicating means with a portable medium, and making a terminal unit only transmit the result thereof. CONSTITUTION: An identification number of a user is input from an identification number input means 4 after an IC card 3 is inserted into an identification number input unit 2. A collation command output means 5 transmits an identification number collation command with the inputted identification number as the data, to the IC card 3 through the communicating means 12, 13. The collating means 8 collates the transmitted identification number with the identification number stored in an identification number storing means 7, and a collation result output means 9 transmits the result of collation by the collating means 8 to the unit 2 through the communicating means 13, 12. When the transmitted result of collation is 'correct', an after collation processing means 6 informs 'completion of collation of identification number' to a terminal unit through the communicating means 11, 10. |
