A connecting element which projects laterally in relation to the machine body 3 is designed as a rigid half-tube 13 which is open towards the mine floor. On the hart-tube 13 are rotatably mounted two identical oval-shaped thrust collars 15 and 15A, each of which has, at its opposite collar end, a projection for the connection of a respective end strap of the cable chain 8. The forces which are applied to the cable chain 8, are transmitted via the aforementioned components to the machine body 3. At the same time, the holder serves to accept and retain a rotary bushing for connecting the ends of water hoses 20, 21 or 22, 23, which run along the cable chain 8 and are arranged on the machine body 3. This can be a double rotary bushing for any necessary recirculation of the cooling fluid. The rotary bushings for fluid transmission are thus not loaded by mechanical forces which are exerted by the cable chain 8 on the machine body 3. <IMAGE>
