发明名称 ANODE FOR ALKALINE ZINC STORAGE BATTERY
摘要 PURPOSE:To smoothly supply an electrolyte to the inside of an anode even if the active material on the outer layer of the anode is consumed by the repeating of charge-discharge and to increase the cycle performance of a storage battery by making hydrophilic fibers coexist at least in the outer layer of an active material retaining layer in a fibrous bound net. CONSTITUTION:By holding a zinc active material 12 with a fibrous bound net 11 made of hydrophobic fluorine resin, the zinc active material 12 is retained in an active material retaining layer 13. Hydrophilic polyamide fibers 14 are made to coexist over the whole area in the direction of the thickness of the active material retaining layer 13 in the fibrous bound net 11. When an alkaline zinc storage battery repeates charge-discharge, a zinc active material 12 is consumed and removed from the outer layer 13 of the active material retaining layer 13 in an anode. Since the polyamide fibers 14 are made to coexist in the fibrous bound net 11 in the outer layer 13a, they act as an electrolyte transmitting material to the zinc active material 12 existing in the anode.
