In order to provide a galvanising unit for small components, essentially consisting of a galvanising bath, a perforated, basket-like recipient vessel which is open at the top and can be immersed into the bath, and a centrifuge with a covering hood and receiver vessel for centrifuging off excess zinc, wherein the excess zinc is directly preserved for the galvanising bath and the arrangement of additional covering hoods above the galvanising bath can be avoided, it is proposed that the centrifuge with covering hood (2) is located at least approximately vertically above the galvanising bath (16), the receiver vessel is formed by the galvanising oven containing the galvanising bath (16) and the receiver vessel (4) for the galvanisation material is arranged so that it can alternately be lowered into the bath and lifted into the covering hood (2) of the centrifuge and be rotated by a motor in the latter. <IMAGE>
