The invention relates to a doctor for intaglio printing which is intended to make the use of roller printing plates possible. According to the invention, this object is achieved in that two doctor blades are provided, between which the liquid printing ink is fed to the printing forme, the excess ink being scraped off the cylinder surface at the same time. The doctor blades can be mounted so as to be movable between two guide elements, the inner guide element, which may also be mounted movably, being designed at the tip to form a spraying chamber for the printing ink.
