It is proposed for an audio-frequency amplifier which has a high DC input resistance and is to be connected via an input coupling capacitor of high capacitance to feed in after the amplifier has been switched on an additional current which charges the coupling capacitor as long as a transistor of the amplifier is operated in saturation.
