<p>A method of controlling laser power by controlling the laser output according to an NC instruction and controlling the laser output as a function of the movement instruction speed of a machine. A movement instruction speed is input to a simulator which employs linear or quadratic approximation for a mechanical system, and a laser output instruction value is calculated based on the result of calculation, in order to maintain simultaneity between the moving speed of the mechanical system and the laser output control. Therefore, simultaneity is maintained relative to the laser power projected onto the work to improve the cutting performance.</p> |
