PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of an image due to the repulsion of ink by shifting the flight timings of the inks from adjacent recording electrodes, by holding the resistance value between the first and second ink flight control electrodes, the resistance value between the first and second recording electrode groups and the resistance value of a photoconductive body to predetermined relation. CONSTITUTION:When the resistance value between the first ink flight control electrode 18a and the recording electrode 13 belonging to the first recording electrode group 14a is set to Rc11, the resistance value between said electrode 18a and the recording electrode 13 belonging to the second recording electrode group 14b is set to Rc21, the resistance value between the second ink flight control electrode 18b and the recording electrode 13 belonging to the first recording electrode group 14a is set to Rc12, the resistance value between said electrode 18b and the recording electrode 13 belonging to the second recording electrode group 14b is set to Rc22, the resistance value when a photoconductive body 15 is irradiated with light is set to Rp and the resistance value when said photoconductive body 15 is not irradiated is set to Rd, the resistivity of oily ink 21, the thickness of the layer of the oily ink 21 between electrodes and the resistance values of the first and second resistor films 19a, 19b are set so as to satisfy Rp<Rc11 Rc22<Rc12 Rc21<=Rd. |
