<p>An aid (10) for controlling the pivotal movement of a trailer (11) relative to a towing vehicle (12) about a pivot connection (19) comprising a semi-circular guide rail (18) having free ends (22, 23) adapted to be pivotally connected to the towing vehicle (12) at spaced locations on opposite sides and equi-distant from the pivot connection (19) of the trailer (11), a guideway (13, 14, 15) mountable to the trailer and comprising spaced roller assemblies (13, 14) between which the guide rail (18) travels and is captive, each said roller assembly (13, 14) including at least one roller having its axis of rotation tranverse the direction of travel of said guide rail (18) and biasing means to inhibit pivotal motion of said guide rail about the pivotal connections of its free ends to said towing vehicle.</p> |
