<p>Device for continuously determining a condition indication of the surface of a moving crepe paper web (3), presenting undulations (A, B). The device comprises a light source, a first optic system (4), a cell (8) intended to receive the backreflected beam (6) and a system for processing the beam (6). The device is characterized in that the light source (1) is a laser source; in that the first optical system (4) is an astigmatic system intended to adapt at the web (3) the dimension of the laser beam (2) to the average pitch of said undulations within the crepe paper web (3) in motion; in that the cell (8) is an optoelectronic cell of which the sensitive surface (20) receives at least a portion of the backscattered light (6), concentrated by means of a second convergent optical system (7); and in that the processing system comprises means to determine a condition indication of the surface of the paper web (3) on the basis of said electric information.</p> |
