Fixed angle rotor for laboratory centrifuges

A fixed angle rotor for laboratory centrifuges with a single-component or multi-component rotor element is known, which element has a plurality of openings which are distributed symmetrically with respect to a vertical rotor axis which at the same time forms the axis of rotation and have the purpose of receiving sample tubes, the intermediate spaces between the edges of the openings being essentially closed. In order to disclose a centrifuge rotor, in particular a centrifuge rotor which is composed of sector-shaped inserts and which permits rapid cleaning of the rotor after a sample tube is broken or after contamination caused in some other way in the region of the upper side of the rotor, the rotor element has a circumferential web which projects beyond the upper side of the rotor element and encloses all the openings, and the inner faces of the web and the areas of the rotor element surrounded by the web are lined by a removable thin flexible inlay which, in the region of the openings, forms the said opening in an exposing fashion and is penetrated in the region of the axis of the rotor.
