PURPOSE: To obtain a key scaling effect over the whole sound area by specifying at least three different key numbers, computing key scaling data corresponding to key numbers inputted based upon the specified data and controlling a sound source means. CONSTITUTION: This key scaling device is provided with a reference data input means 3 for specifying at least three different key numbers and specifying key scaling data corresponding to the specified key numbers and an interpolation means for computing key scaling data corresponding to the key numbers inputted from a performance input means 6 based upon the data specified by the means 3. The key scaling data computed by the interpolation means are used for a musical sound control means 7 to control a sound source. Consequently, satisfied key scaling responses are applied over the whole sound area. |
