<p>A treatment vessel (2) contains fluidised powder and is furnished with a plurality of heaters (75, 76, 77) arranged one above the other which form different separately heatable heating zones in the treatment vessel. A powder inlet (6) of the treatment vessel is situated in the vicinity of one of these heating zones, and a powder outlet (14) is situated in a heating zone which is furthest from the heating zone lying in the vicinity of the powder inlet (6). As a result, moisture variations of the powder, which can occur due to powder newly introduced into the treatment vessel via the powder inlet, are either not transmitted or are transmitted to such a small extent to the heating zone lying at the powder outlet (14) that these variations can be rapidly eliminated. As a result, powder conditioned with respect to its moisture content can be taken off via the powder outlet (14), even if the powder does not yet have the required preset moisture value in other heating zones. <IMAGE></p> |
