The application concerns a display stand for vehicles, particularly for passenger cars or estate cars, comprising a platform 1 and a lighting arrangement above the vehicles. In order to ensure a studio-like presentation and illumination for a vehicle, it is devised in accordance with the invention that the lighting arrangement comprise at least one light trough 3 which is equipped with fluorescent lamps, and the length of which exceeds the length of the vehicle 2 by at least approximately one metre at the front and rear, and which is covered on its underside by an opaque material. <IMAGE>
