<p>A machine-tool has a spindle carrier (11), a work table and a protecting wall (12) that surrounds the spindle carrier (11) and the work table from all sides and is provided with at least a front wall (20) and a side wall (30). Doors (21, 31) arranged in each of the walls (20, 30) allow the spindle carrier (11) and the work table to be manually accessed from two sides. A control box (46) having adjusting elements (47) for the machine-tool (10) is arranged on a boom (43). The boom (43) is rotatively mounted at a point (41) of the machine-tool (10) rigidly linked to the protecting wall (12). In order to allow the control box (46) to be brought to an ergonomically optimal position besides both doors (21, 31), the point (41) lies in the area of a corner formed by the front wall (20) and the side wall (30), so that the control box (46) can pivot to lateral positions with respect to the doors (21, 31).</p> |
