PURPOSE:To enhance the safety of a rotary electric machine by engaging a clutch with an output shaft when a power source is disconnected, thereby eliminating the drive of a motor by an external drive force. CONSTITUTION:When a motor 7 is rotatably controlled, a driven gear 19 which is axially supported is driven, and a gear 11 is affected by a thrust force. Accordingly, clutches 17, 18 maintain a thrust gap so as not to disturb the rotation of a reduction gear train, and to be able to continuously rotate a cone 23. When a power source is then disconnected from a plug socket and a cone 23 is rotated in a direction capable of rotating the motor 7, the gear 19 is disposed at the drive side, and the clutches 17, 18 are engaged. Consequently, the rotation of the gear 11 is stopped, and the cone 23 cannot be manually rotated continuously. |
