<p>PURPOSE:To shorten treatment time by switching a sheet carrier path to a staple part direction when the given number is selected to one as the number of copy sheets and a finish mode to bind sheets is selected. CONSTITUTION:The given number is set to one as the number of copy sheets in a control circuit, and when a finish mode to bind sheets discharged from a discharge roller pair 22 of a copying machine main body is selected, a passage switch claw 201 is switched from a sorter part 41 side to a through pass 200 to a staple part 90. Recorded sheets discharged from the pair 22 are directly feeded in order between a staple tray 91 and an upper guide plate 92 of a staple part 90 without via a sorter part 42 and are aligned, and are bound with a stapler 100 when a given number of sheets comes. Thus staple treatment time can be shortened with sheets directly carried to the staple part when a sorting treatment is unnecessary.</p> |
