PURPOSE:To execute a fail-safe operation by a method wherein outputs of a plurality of power circuits are connected in series as a unipolar output and a power circuit in the forefront stage is supplied with a power from outside, while an output in the rearmost stage is supplied to an abnormality detecting circuit etc. CONSTITUTION:A power circuit 601 is supplied with a power from outside and supplies a power output to a power circuit 602 in the next stage. This circuit 602 supplies the power output to a power circuit 603 in the subsequent stage and an analog circuit element in a signal processing circuit 10'. Said circuit 603 supplies the power output to a power circuit 604 in the following stage and a logic circuit in the circuit 10'. Moreover, the circuit 604 supplies the power output to an abnormality detecting circuit element in the circuit 10', detectors 101, 102, 202 or 401 and preamplifiers 102, 202 or 402. When the power of any of the circuits 601-604 is lost in such a construction as the above, the output to the abnormality detecting circuit element in the circuit 10' is lost also since the circuits 601-604 are connected in series. Thereby an abnormality output is delivered from the abnormality detecting circuit element in the circuit 10, and thus a fail-safe operation can be executed.
