The fluorinated alkenylene diamine derivs. of the following general formula (I) and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts are prepared. In formula (I), Rc represents hydrogen or -COR5, where R5 is hydroxy or C1-8 alkoxy; R1 is H or C1-6 alkyl; one of R2 and R3 is H and the other is C1-6 alkyl; m and n independently represent 0 or 1 but m+n=0 or 1; p is 1 or 2. These new cpds. and their devs are useful as ornithine decarboxylase inhibitors for antitumour use and antiprotozoals.
