PURPOSE:To enable simple and sure control of a combustion amount of a burner throughout a wide range, by a method wherein a ratio between a combustion time and a stop time is changed by a combustion timer in a set time of a repeat timer to count a starting commencing to detection of flame. CONSTITUTION:During the initial stage of operation, when air fuel mixture from a feed fan 8 is fed to a combustion chamber 3, with an igniter 23 actuated, spark is emitted from an electrode 18 to ignite air-fuel mixture. After elapse of a specified time starting from detection of a combustion flame by means of a flame rod 1, the igniter 23 and the feed fan 8 are stopped, and thereafter, combustion is continued by means of self-feed and self ignition. Meanwhile, in the combustion time and the stop time of a pulse burner, the combustion time of a combustion timer is set through rotational control of a combustion regulating dial 2, a combustion cycle is repeated to determine a ratio to a specified value in a set time, and a set combustion cycle is repeated to decide a combustion amount to a desired set value. |
