PURPOSE:To obtain an antisuntan aerosol cosmetic having improved ultraviolet- absorbing effect and capable of lowering the skin stimulation, by using a high- molecular weight silicone, a propellant such as flon gas and an ultraviolet absorber. CONSTITUTION:The objective cosmetic contains (A) 1-50wt.%, preferably 1-30wt.% of a high-molecular weight silicone of formula (R1 is methyl, a part of which may be phenyl; R2 is methyl or OH; n is 3,000-20,000), (B) 5-95wt.% of a flon gas and/or liquefied petroleum gas as a propellant and (C) >=0.05wt.% (the upper limit depends upon the kind of the agent in view of the safety to the skin) of an ultraviolet absorber (e.g. of the type of benzoic acid, salicylic acid, cinnamic acid or benzophenone). The water-resistance is improved by the effect of the component A to enable the prevention of unexpected blister or erythema caused by suntan. |
