PURPOSE:To minimize a table size and to remove a diagnostic message at high speed without securing the extra area by making only the length of a diagnostic message text into a variable length. CONSTITUTION:While a compiler 32 checks the program of a CPU2, the number of the diagnosing message is held and the total number of errors is counted. When the checking is completed, the assembly of the number of the diagnosing message to be outputted and the total number of the errors are set to the compiler 32. At the time of a point, a diagnosing message table 11 stored in an external memory 1 is loaded to a table 31 of a memory 3 through the CPU 2. The compiler 32 refers to the table 31 in accordance with the number of the diagnosing message held and print-outputs successively said diagnosing message to an external device 4.
