PURPOSE: To simplify an adjusting mechanism for a cam and a drum by moving up and down a shaft which holds the cam with an eccentric pin through one flat plate. CONSTITUTION: A bill carried by being clamped with a belt 14 passes between the cam 1 and drum 9 and is conveyed. When >=2 bills are carried one over another, the cam 1 is pressed and rotates to cut off the sensor optical axis of a sensor 3. The eccentric pin 7 is rotated on a fulcrum 2 and then a bracket 5 having one side against the eccentric pin 7 rotates on a fulcrum 1 and the cam shaft 2 abutting against the bracket 5 moves. Consequently, the gap between the cam 1 and drum 9 is adjusted. |
