PURPOSE:To obtain a diet balloon constituted so as to prevent the generation of a complication, by providing a means for detecting that the diet balloon stayed in the stomach in an expanded state contracts and a means for informing the detection signal from said detection means to the outside of the body. CONSTITUTION:When a diet balloon 1 contracts by the inferiority of the valve at an air injection port or the generation of the leakage of air from the wall of the balloon, a pressure sensor 2 detects a change in pressure, that is, the lowering in internal pressure and the internal resistance thereof changes to allow the voltage at the output terminal 10 thereof to change. When this voltage becomes lower than the reference voltage formed by voltage dividing resistors 12, 13, the output of a comparator 11 becomes H and the voltage operating an oscillation circuit 15 is generated in the emitter of a transistor 14. Then, the oscillation circuit 15 is operated and a signal radio wave form informing the generation of abnormality is generated through an antenna wire 5. Therefore, this signal radio wave is received by the receiver provided to a part of the outside of the body to make it possible to know that the balloon is lowered in its internal pressure and contracts. |
