<p>PURPOSE:To decrease the number of divided cases for state transition and to improve the efficiency of inference processing by designating conditions dependent on the history of the value in a certain time range as the integrating conditions of a parameter having differential relationship with a qualitative model. CONSTITUTION:In a process where the state transition is inferred for an object set by time based on a qualitative model showing the relationship among the values of a parameter that decides the object state, the model includes the integrating conditions related to the fixed integrated value in terms of a specific time range set by the differential relationship concerning the time set between desired parameters. Then the final point of the time range is detected. The satisfaction of the integrating conditions is checked based on the history of the values of parameters set between the start and end points of said time range. In case the integrating conditions are not satisfied, the state including the parameter estimated value is deleted out of the inference result. Thus the number of divided cases can be decreased for the state transition.</p> |
