PURPOSE:To prepare efficiently the title granule having a high bulk density and a uniform particle size, by pouring a soln. of a polycarbonate resin in methylene chloride in warm water wherein polycarbonate granules are present and vigorously stirring it under shearing. CONSTITUTION:Warm water 2 is filled in a granulation tank 1 and polycarbonate granules are placed therein as seeds of granulation. A soln. of a polycarbonate resin in methylene chloride is introduced thereinto and polycarbonate resin granules are prepd. In this case, the warm water is guided from the lower part of a stator 7 to the upper part by rotating a turbine 5. As the stator 7 is formed as a narrow path wherein the warm water can be passed through in the upward and downward directions, the warm water is guided upward with high speed and shearing force is given by means of blades 5A of the turbine 5. The above-described polycarbonate seed granules and polycarbonate granules having been grown by using them as the seeds are made into fine particles and thereafter the polycarbonate resin is adhered onto the fine particles in the stirred flow to grow the granules. Then, this cycle is repeated to prepare efficiently the title granules having a high bulk density and a uniform particle size. |
