PURPOSE:To obtain the title compsn. being light-weight, having excellent heat resistance, solvent resistance and so on and being useful as a raw material for a lens material of high hardness, by dispersing an inorg. component of very fine particle having specific characteristics in a phosphazene compd. having a structure contg. polymerizable and curable groups in its molecule. CONSTITUTION:The title compsn. is obtd. by dispersing an inorg. component (e.g., TiO2 or Al2O3) contg. very fine inorg. particles having a particle size of 200mum or less and a refractive index >=1.6 in a phosphazene compd. (e.g., a compd. represented by formula III) having repeating units represented by formula I [wherein a and b are integers satisfying a>0, b>=0 and a+b=2; A is a polymerizable and curable group (e.g., 2-hydroxyethylmethacrylate residue); B is a group represented by formula II (wherein R<1>-R<5> are each H, halogen, 1-4C alkyl, or 1-4C halogenated alkyl; M is O, S, NH)] and whose degree of polymn. is >=3. The title compsn. is useful as a raw material for a lens material being light weight, having excellent heat resistance, solvent resistance and impact resistance as well as high hardness and being adjustable to have an optional refractive index. |
