PURPOSE: To obtain firm connection with an objected to be attached by using a fastener having a uniform cross section in an axial direction, and comprising a base portion for mounting a fastening part; and major and minor portions projecting in spaced relationship from the base portion. CONSTITUTION: A part 12 has a uniform cross section in the direction of an axis 13 and comprises a base portion 14 having a means for attaching the fastening part 12 to a mounted portion. The base portion 14 has a major and a minor projecting portions 16, 18 projecting in spaced relationship from the base portion 14. The major projecting portion 16 comprises a notch portion 21 and a ridge 20 parallel to the axis 13, and a corrugation 22. The minor projecting portion 18 has a lip 24 parallel with the axis 13. The major and the minor projecting portions 16, 18 define a slot 26. Since the part 12 is made of a flexible material such as a polymer material or the like, the lip 24 can surround the periphery of the ridge 20, and two parts 12 can be pressed together, thus carrying out flange attachment. |
