PURPOSE:To enable operations inclusive of agitation and fine crushing with one apparatus by setting a slide valve below stirring blades rotating around two vertical shafts, by arranging a rotor with crushing ribs beneath this valve and by covering the aforementioned rotor with a casing composed of a wire gauze. CONSTITUTION:A slide valve 4 equipped with a driving instrument 12 is set below stirring blades 2a, 2b rotating around two vertical shafts. Beneath this slide valve 4, a rotor 6 with crushing ribs 5 is arranged. This rotor 6 is covered with a casing 7 whose bottom part is composed of a wire gauze 9. By using this apparatus, operations inclusive of agitation and fine crushing of a solid material such as foundry sand can be carried out in one apparatus and in a short time. |
