PURPOSE:To prevent wear on heat transmission pipes suitable especially for heat exchangers for fast breeders by improvement in supporting members in such a manner as a collar is fitted on part of a heat transmission pipe where the pipe is held with a supporting plate, and the edge of the insertion hole of the supporting plate is rounded. CONSTITUTION:The collar 19 is fitted on part of the heat transmission pipe 4 by a locking screw 20 at the part held with the supporting plate 14. The edge of the insertion hole of the supporting plate 14 is finished in round cross-section. Both locking screw 20 anc collar 19 are of split type having devotail grooves 21 on the contiguous surfaces to prevent incomplete joint. These features can prevent direct wearing on the heat transmission pipe even when relative movement is encountered between the supporting plate and heat transmission pipe caused by thermal expansion. The split type collar and locking screw can facilitate their installation onto a large number of heat transmission pipes. |
