摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a high compressor efficiency both in cooling and in heating by a method wherein a discharge valve is automatically provided at a discharge hole of a compressor at the time of a heating operation, and the compression ratio at the time of the heating operation is raised to an appropriate value. CONSTITUTION:At the time of the heating operation, a heat exchanger 27 on the use side functions as a condenser and a heat exchanger 28 on the heat source side functions as an evaporator. Therefore, a high pressure is exerted on a pressure-receiving surface 12, while a low pressure is exerted on a pressure-receiving surface 13, a movable body 14 is pushed downward, and the discharge valve 17 closes the discharge hole 3. Accordingly, a refrigerant gas sucked in through a suction pipe 25 is discharged only after the condition (pressure in a compression chamber 34)>(pressure in a discharge chamber 21) is satisfied, since there is the discharge valve unlike at the time of a cooling operation. Therefore, an insufficient compression at the time of heating is avoided and a high compressor efficiency can be obtained both in cooling and in heating.
