PURPOSE:To reduce the initial cost and the running cost by providing a photoconductive layer in the periphery of a particle in which a coloring agent is dispersed into a fixing resin. CONSTITUTION:A colored layer 4 which becomes a core of a photoconductive toner 7 is constituted of a fixing resin 5 and a coloring agent 6. As for the coloring agent 6, nigrosine, spirit black, etc., and a benzine derivative, etc., are used in case of a black toner, and in case of a yellow toner, respectively. Subsequently, by using these materials, a particle of the colored layer 4 whose particle diameter is 10mum is prepared by kneading, grinding, classifying a heat treatment process, etc. Next, a photoconductive agent and a binder resin are mixed in a prescribed ratio, the binder resin is melted by adding a solvent, and the photoconductive agent is dispersed. By adding a colored layer particle to this dispersed solution, a toner in which the surface of the colored layer particle is coated with a photoconductive layer by a spray/dry method is prepared. |
