SINGLE-SIDE PUSHING LINING CONSTRUCTION METHOD OF PIPELINE AND LEADING END APPARATUS USED THEREIN

PURPOSE:To apply lining to a pipeline over the total length thereof only by the work from a start end pipe opening, by inserting a hard-semihard thermoplastic tube in a pipeline from the start end thereof to the terminal thereof and engaging the engaging member of a leading end device with a terminal pipe opening before internally heating and pressurizing the tube inserted in the pipeline by the operation from the start end side to inflate the same. CONSTITUTION:A tube 1 is inserted in a pipeline (a) from the start end pipe opening a2 thereof toward the terminal pipe opening a3 thereof. At the time of this insertion, an engaging member 2 is freely deformed in a direction reducing a projecting width and the tube 1 is smoothly bent and deformed to be guided by a leading apparatus 3. When the engaging member 2 issues to the outside from the terminal pipe opening a3, said member 2 becomes a state having a projecting width larger than the caliber of the pipeline (a). The tube 1 is heated and softened by a heating pig 7 and compressed air is further supplied in the tube 1 from the start end side thereof to move the pig 7 in the pipeline (a) from the start end to the terminal. By this method, the lining of the tube can be applied to the inner surface of the pipeline (a) only by the work from the start end pipe opening.
